Balancing exercise with life - building up a healthy routine
Hi everyone, what a great summer we had here in the UK.
It has been the perfect BBQ garden party weather, I hope you have all enjoyed it.
I bet due to the change in weather and temperature some of us will have changed our diet temporarily.
This could have been due to the heat or just having a busier schedule.
Because of this, some of us will find it hard to get back to our regular routine, but it doesn't have to be hard!
Here at KFEF we believe the key to creating a regular routine is simple.
And we're all about helping people to understand the benefits of exercise and a healthy diet.
Short and intense full body workouts that can be done with little to zero equipment, a healthier eating plan that gives YOU lots of different recipe options so that your taste buds never get bored!
And don't forget - good quality rest.
So, if you are reading this and feel you need help to kick start your journey back on track, try these 3 easy to implement tips and let's get that engine running again!
Tip # 1
Get back to consuming 2 - 4 litres of water per day.
Due to the heat and busy summer, a lot of us would have forgotten to consume enough water at regular intervals.
It isn't too late to start getting the adequate daily amount back in our systems.
This is very important, regardless of the weather.
Tip # 2
Introduce small portions of exercise back into your weekly routine.
For those of you who took the summer off or relaxed on the exercise front, don't jump back into the deep end and cram too much in too quickly.
Go back a few weeks and perform some of the easier exercises we have to get your body moving again. Stretching will be a great addition to this also.
Tip # 3
Get your diet back on track.
This is very important, especially for those who relaxed their eating plans during the hot sunny days (which is understandable).
Now is the time to get that back on track and start putting healthy fuel into our systems.
Consuming foods high in antioxidants is something I would highly recommend.
These foods will help eliminate bad toxins from our bodies that we might have consumed throughout summer (processed foods & alcohol for example).
They will also help to flush out our systems, which is in essence cleaning our bodies, and help us get back to that fit and healthy routine.
So there you have it. I hope you are all ready to get back on track and chase those healthy goals!
